StrataPrime facilitated a smooth data migration for Songtradr, a leading B2B music company, following their acquisition of 7Digital. This project highlights our expertise in ensuring cohesive integration within complex Google Workspace environments.
The Challenge
Following their acquisition of 7Digital, Songtradr needed to migrate user account data from 7Digital’s Google Workspace to their own. This included Mail, My Drive files, Calendar, and Contacts, as well as 15 Shared Drives. The goal was a seamless integration into Songtradr’s existing Google Workspace ecosystem.
The Solution
StrataPrime employed CloudM, a third-party migration tool, to execute a comprehensive migration strategy. This ensured the efficient transfer of user account data while preserving its integrity and structure. Additionally, StrataPrime used Vault exports to migrate data from Collaborative Inboxes, expanding the scope of the migration.
The Result
The migration was executed successfully, seamlessly transitioning all 55 user accounts from 7Digital to Songtradr. This included Mail, Google Drive files and folders, Calendar, Contacts, and 15 Shared Drives. The result was a consolidated data landscape, allowing Songtradr’s users to access their vital information effortlessly.
In addition to the data migration, StrataPrime facilitated access for Songtradr’s destination user accounts to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) projects within the source domain, further streamlining the integration process. The entire migration process was executed with precision, ensuring no data loss or corruption occurred.
