Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Very strong communication skills with a high degree of customer service and focus
2 or more years of technical experience solutioning, configuring and supporting Cloud services
2 or more years experience with Google Workspace configuration, and administration
2 or more years experience with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365
Experience with Identity Management (Google Cloud Identity, Azure,Okta)
Active Google Collaboration Engineer certification, or ability to complete within the first 90 days
Google Workspace solution design per customer requirements
Configuration and deployment of Google Workspace services
Execute on Mail and cloud storage migration from other Cloud platforms to Google Workspace
Configure and deploy advanced Workspace security features
Analyze and recommend appropriate Cloud Identity solutions to meet customer requirements
Troubleshoot customer issues and design appropriate solutions
Provide technical pre-sales support for Google product demos
Assist sales with the creation of Statements of Work
Write scripts to automate customer Workspace administration tasks
Experience building out GCP, AWS or Azure environments (nice to have)
Experience with basic script writing using Python and Powershell (nice to have)
Experience with basic networking (nice to have)

As a Google Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for maintenance and expansion of Workspace, Chrome Enterprise, and Voice (collectively, “Workspace”) business growth across North America with both new and existing customers. In this role, you'll help create and execute the strategy and provide unique insights on applying Google productivity solutions to enterprises. Leveraging a methodology and communication skills, you will build an excellent pipeline and work with peers to build out the customer solution and establish partnerships. You will strategize with internal Googlers to increase account and territory business growth. You will work directly with customers, coordinate internal resources, and construct successful strategies at account and territory level.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of relevant experience in SaaS, and/or Collaboration and Productivity tools sales
Experience managing customer and prospect accounts with sales cycles, and reaching and exceeding goals
Enthusiasm, friendliness, and comfort in discussions and written communications with technically focused team members, finance teams and senior business leaders
Attention to detail with strong math skills and proficiency with Google Sheets
Prepare account level reporting including price and margin analysis
Experience with CRM sales tools
Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, guide long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor
Work collaboratively with wider Google Account teams to cultivate and develop business growth for Google Workspace, and achieve strategic goals
Make internal Googlers responsible for leads love us by closing deals, making their work life easier, and making them super successful in their roles
Deliver against assigned business and growth goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience to customers and prospects. Increase the level of referenceability of accounts in the market
Maintain and grow current Workspace accounts in addition to acquiring, leading, and developing new Workspace opportunities in your assigned territory
