StrataPrime partnered with a major Canadian bank to achieve a secure and seamless Google Workspace transformation. This success story highlights our expert guidance in overcoming complex technical challenges and addressing critical security concerns, ultimately enhancing their workplace collaboration.

The Challenge
Many security organizations in large Financial Services companies, like the bank, are working with outdated and often false information about Workspace security, privacy, and compliance capabilities. StrataPrime had to prove that Google Workspace Enterprise Plus would meet the same criteria as Microsoft M365. In the end, StrataPrime was successful and a Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) was approved. This cleared the path for Google Workspace as an approved Cloud application at the bank.
The Solution
StrataPrime collaborated closely with the bank’s security and compliance teams, along with key executive sponsors, to identify all necessary requirements. We leveraged our deep understanding of platform coexistence to address complex Microsoft interoperability issues.
Our experienced team provided clear and comprehensive documentation, demonstrating how Google Workspace Enterprise Plus met each of the bank’s stringent security criteria. We further substantiated our findings through a proof-of-concept deployment on a test domain, showcasing compliance through rigorous third-party security audits.
The Result
Google Workspace was successfully deployed to a significant portion of the bank’s employees, resulting in enhanced collaboration, improved communication, and increased agility. The bank experienced no security incidents or coexistence challenges during the transition.
Moreover, the adoption of Google Workspace has made the bank more attractive to the next generation of talent, highlighting the positive impact of modern, cloud-based solutions on employee satisfaction and recruitment.
